...so I close my eyes
Nothing.
Blackness.
That perfect and all knowing silence.
It is silence like thunder.
Slowly, Love.
God.
He appears.
He speaks Love into existance;
Love that shakes me to the very core.
Love and Mercy.
It is a fire lit in the depth of my bosom.
Deep in my heart,
It is a warm and calming flame.
A bright ember glowing
in a bottomless sea of darkness.
The smallest measure causes the
most gentle splash.
It sends a ripple in every direction.
A ripple that grows and swells;
Love without end, going on and on.
It spreads throughout the earth,
And reaches into the hearts of men.
From there, it overflows.
It touches the corners of the world and beyond.
It escapes into infinitude
Where it ripples forever,
reaching into the heavens and brushing
on the ears of angels.
They translate what they hear
into joyous song.
The song travels into the very Heart of God Himself,
causing Him to smile.
It started with silence.
It started with God,
When He spoke His Love into my heart.
Nothing.

It is silence like thunder.
