Hi Servant,
I had already discussed this passage in my first post and you said you disagreed so I asked what you believed. God sends the delusion at the beginning of the 7 year tribulation. The mark of the beast starts after 666 is given control of the earth by the 10 kings at the middle of the tribulation.
I can't spell good enough to pontificate.
John 16:7-8 tells us that the comforter will reprove the world of sin after he comes into believers in Jesus. It is he the Holy Spirit that is letting or restraining the Mystery of Iniquity and when he is taken away we go with him to heaven.
My issue with what you say is that you say it as if it were fact. Like it's the only way it can be or it's settled in interpretation of the scripture. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
Re your statement above: There is NO agreement the Holy Spirit is the restrainer - there are many interpretations and suppositions of who the restrainer is. There is NO agreement when the delusion of God is sent and as far as I am aware, no scripture which says so. The mark of the beast is clear, but it's implementation is not. The ten Kings DO NOT give control of the earth to the AC, it's not theirs to give; they join him in an alliance: "They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast" Rev 17:13 There is no mention as to when this will happen; it could be before the tribulation starts**, at the beginning, in the middle, or anywhere in between. You cannot definitively state when because we DO NOT know.
In my answers to all of your posts in this thread, I've complained about your speaking in absolutes. Since few of the subjects you've spoken of are far from settled, they are not absolutes. They may be what you believe, but when speaking in a forum such as this, please identify what you believe versus that which is indisputable. Such as: "I believe Christ will come again next Thursday," versus "Christ will come again." One is a belief, one is absolute.
IMHO,

**Note: The alliance could be made before the tribulation starts although it would be both unlikely and unwittingly done because the AC would not be in power as the man of lawlessness. By definition this alliance IS given to the man of lawlessness.
