Results of True Christian Conversion
(by Bible lover Bill)

Religion is not Salvation or a way to Eternal Life; true Christianity is.

What God hates in our churches:
R -- ritual
E -- earnestness for superficiality
L -- legalistic
I -- ignorant of a lot of what is God-pleasing
G -- going on with un-Biblical tradition
I -- “I” problem especially in pride and selfishness
O -- obnoxious
N -- nasty, hypocritical, and condemnatory like the Pharisees of old

What is the saving faith? It can be summarized by the following anagram:
F -- fear not
A -- assurance from God's Word
I -- in God's love
T -- trust in God and the Bible
H -- holiness with Holy Spirit and Bible help

True Christian conversion results in what the following indicates:
C -- Christ, confession
H -- Holy Spirit help
A -- attitudes and actions
N -- needs
G -- good works (Ephesians 2:10)
E -- everywhere for eternity

C -- commitment to God's truth
O -- obedience to the Holy Spirit
U -- understanding God's desires
R -- revival spiritually
A -- attentiveness for opportunities to minister
G -- gratefulness to God, especially for His protection
E -- enduring in faith of our Lord Jesus Christ

Colossians 1:21-23
“And you, who were sometimes alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works,
yet now has He reconciled in the body of His flesh through death,
to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight,
if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast,
and are not moved away from the hope of the Gospel which you heard,
which was preached to every creature under Heaven,
of which I, Paul, became a minister.”
Hebrews 3:6
“but Christ as a Son over His own house,
whose house we are
if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.”

Hebrews 10:23
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering,
for He who promised is faithful.”

1 Peter 1:13-15
“Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober,
and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you
at the revelation of Jesus Christ, as obedient children,
not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance;
but as He Who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
because it is written, ‘Be holy, for I am holy.’”

Barely saved?
Matthew 5:19
“Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments,
and shall teach men so,
he [or she] shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven;
but whosoever shall do and teach them,
the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.”
1 Corinthians 3:13-15
“Everyone's work shall be made manifest;
for the Day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire;
and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
If one's work survives which he [or she] has built upon,
he [or she] shall receive a reward.
If one's work shall be burned, he [or she] shall suffer loss;
but he [or she] shall be saved, yet so as by fire.”

“He will turn your MESS into a MESSAGE,
Your TESTS into a TESTIMONY
and make you a VICTOR instead of a VICTIM!!
The message does NOT change…
The message changes US!!
Hallelujah!!!!” (author unknown)

John 14:15 & 21
“If you love Me,
keep My commandments.
He [or she] who has My commandments and keeps them,
he [or she] it is who loves Me;
and he [or she] who loves Me shall be loved of My Father,
and I will love him [or her], and will manifest Myself to him [or her].”

Ephesians 1:4-6
“According as He has chosen us in Him
before the foundation of the world,
that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love;”
having predestinated us to the adoption of children
by Jesus Christ to Himself,
according to the good pleasure of His will,
to the praise of the glory of His grace,
wherein He has made us accepted in The Beloved.”

If there were arrests and court trials for Christians, how much evidence would the detectives find of God-pleasing actions would they find for the prosecutor to use against you? Who are you living for most of the time? Yourself or God? Every sin is because of selfishness. Now carefully read Romans 8, Galatians 5, and Proverbs 3:5-6. I hope that you will become a better ambassadors for Christ. He is coming back for a purified Bride.

Dancing Feather,

Jesus Christ is coming back of a purified Bride. The spiritual enemy is doing all they can to delay that by either (1) encouraging preachers to only emphasize the Grace of God or psychology or (2) by tempting Christians to live as if they are still under the Old Testament legalism which the Pharisees promoted and required of the Jews. Believing in and relating to Jesus Christ sets us free from such. The Bible and the Holy Spirit are the best guides and counselors for whoever trusts God and wants to do the predestined unselfish good works He has planned for each of His adopted children to live. We can say and do perfectly right if we do what the Holy Spirit urges because He is perfect and "saying" what He hears from Jesus Christ (John 16:13). That is why I try to live Proverbs 3:5-6 frequently so that I will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. And Christian sanctification is not automatically done like many USA preachers wrongly teach. I am thankful that I do not have to work for Salvation, but I love becoming more Christ-like because I love God and His Word so much.

Salvation is the “act” of faith
Sanctification is the “walk” of faith
Service is the “work” of faith

The Ten Commandments were not nullified by Jesus dying on the cross as many Christian preachers claim. Remember they were written twice by God the Father or Jesus Christ Himself. The over 1100 commandments in the New Testament are related to at least one of the Ten. What does this passage indicate? Matthew 5:16-20 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven. Think not that I am come to destroy the Law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till Heaven and Earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.” He also said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever; even the Spirit of truth; Whom the world cannot receive, because it sees Him not, neither knows Him: but you know Him; for He dwells with you, and shall be in you.” (John 14:15-17) True Christians should want to obey the New Testament commandments and exhortations as the wonderful Holy Spirit urges because they are loving Jesus Christ, God the Father, and the Bible more and more. Legalism is when you are doing good because it is expected by human beings in authority like parents, teachers, and pastors. But whenever we do what the Holy Spirit urges, we receive at least divine peace and can also receive divine joy.

Ephesians 2:8-10
“For it is by free grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment {and} made partakers of Christ's salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law's demands], lest any man or woman should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself/herself in it or take glory to himself/herself.] For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].”

See also Romans 14:17, John 15:9-11, and Philippians 4:4-8.

Easy believism and prosperity living are not Biblical either. Apostle Paul even turned over some of his brightest disciples to the Satan and he had constant pressure from a demon. And he and other Christians were persecuted because of their beliefs and their righteousness. They lived and died for God's wonderful truths. Have you heard of the challenge, "practice what you preach"? But most professing Christians know and live very little of the Bible. An anagram for Bible is

The fruits of a true christian

:confused2:WHAT ARE THE FRUITS OF A TRUE CHRISTIAN?

JESUS said that we would know them by their fruits Matt.7:20
But how can we identify these fruits? The fruits or results of God's Holy Spirit working in our lives show whether or not we are truly Christian.

JESUS explained the most important thing for a Christian to do when He said that we must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the 1st and great commandment.

THE 2nd is, " you shall love your neighbor as yourself: Matt.22:37-39.

FOR the true Christians, God becomes the center of everything. He is really God-Centered and he will want to please God in all his thoughts and actions, constantly remember that God is his Father and his living, active Head. So he won't be looking for clever trick arguments to *get around* keeping God's commandements or His inspired Holy Days.

He will *feed* on Christ by constanly studying the Bible and drinking in the inspired Word of God. John 6:56-57 and learn the habit of seeking God in earnest prayer as Jesus did Mark1:35. In all of this, he will learn to walk with God, his thoughts, actions more in tune with God and Christ every day of his Christian life.

A genuine Christian will be led by God's Spirit to *love his neighbor as himself". He will seek to live by Christ's instruction, that it is more blessed to give than recieve. Acts 20:35

He will strive to be a genuine follower of Christ and be a giver, to help, serve, encourage, lift up his fellow human beings. He will put his whole heart into helping to give God's precious Truth to others. Danile 12:3

He will demonstrate love, a sincere, outflowing concern for all men, warmth, affection for all. He will have a deep and abiding love for God and for Christ His Savior. He'll appreciate forever the fact that J.C. came down to earth to suffer, to shed His blood and to die in order to reconcile us with God. The genuine Christian will have an everlasting feeling of love, loyalty to J.C.

A very vital fruit is FAITH - the spiritual strength to trust in God & demonstrate commitment to that trust in every area of life. Pslam 5:11-12

THE FINAL FRUIT: the Spirit of self-control-the spiritual strenght to master one's sins and lusts in order to OBEY God. If we truly surrender our hearts, minds and wills to God, accept J.C. and be baptized in His name, we are promised the power of the Holy spirit to give you this kind of strenght and self control. 2 Tim.1:7
I John 3:24

The way to know whether or not you are a Christian is anyone who says he is a Christian should live as CHRIST did. We know that Christ kept all of His Father's commandments including the 4th - setting an example for us all. John 15:10

We should never expect perfection in our lives all at once as we have already learned that wer to grow in grace and in knowledge. The true Christian life is one of overcoming and growing to become more like JESUS CHRIST - even in our innermost thoughts and desires.

But, for the True Christian, the magnificent future makes all the trials, test and growing pains more than worth it..Romans 4.18.

KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE GOAL..

:groupwave:Check today if you are truly a true Christian and truly walking in J.C. footsteps.
