Repentance without being sorry

When we repent, we ask forgivess from the bottom of our hearts telling God to never do that particular mistake again. We sincerly apologize. But have you ever sinned which you sincerly apologized for but wouldn't undo it?
This is not a personal question. Just wondering what your thoughts are
God bless

Repentance is a complete turning away from your sin, and going in the opposite direction. If you say sorry to God for what you have done and carry on doing what you were doing that is not repentance. You must say sorry, and completely turn away from that sin.

I understand. What i meant was you are very much sorry for doing what you did but would you undo it if you could? Are there sins in our life we wouldn't undo if were given a chance?

Have you ever meet an "Old Soilder"? What do you think he might say about the terrible things which he had to do for his country and would he do them again? Food for thought. MGBY

It's done...

I understand fully, but remember "if we confess our sin-s he is faithful and just to forgive us for all our sin-s and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, John 1:9" The word cleanse from Greek word Katharizo: make clean, purge and purify. To answer your questions yes it's "undone" when we ask Jesus to purge us.

Jesus's always said:
But have you ever sinned which you sincerly apologized for but wouldn't undo it?
Jesus's always - if you are not truly sorry, you have not repented. This is a contradiction in terms.

Sunshine, I know it looks like a contadiction but let me explain with an example. This person who is very close to me had a boyfreind and she slept with him. She was TRULY sorry for what she did. She repented, really repented. But unfortunately she got pregnant. But you see, even though it was a bad situations which was a sin, she got a child out of it. I dont think she would undo it (she wants the baby, its her baby) if she was given a chance or I dunno really. This is what I was talking about. I just didn't want to go to specifics.
Besides, I think the soldier example explains this well.

Undoing and repentance - your example

Your friend repented of a sinful behavior. She stopped the behavior
She was forgiven by God.

Now that behavior had a consequence, she had a child. All behaviors good and bad have consequences. Our behaviors on earth will be judged after death. For those who are saved we will be judged at judgment seat of Christ. We will receive rewards for what we did that built up the body of Christ and those things that were not good will be burned as hay and stubble.

Your friend loves her child I am sure, but might have preferred to have one at some other time. The consequences of her actions while pleasent to some degree are also life changing to a major degree. Those life changes can not be avoided and they are the consequence of her behavior and actions.

We do not avoid consequences just because we are forgiven. May we all consider that before we slip and fall.
