There’s a doctrine going around called Cessationism which teaches dat spiritual gifts such as speaking in tongues, prophecy and healing have ceased since pentecost. This is completely bogous and asinine and unbiblical, even I speak in tongues sometimes and after I was born again I started seeing visions which were prophetic and actually came true aswell.

just like the bible says in Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

the only thing dat has ceased is peoples faith in Gods power as the bible says in 2 timothy 3:5 they have a form of godlyness but they deny the power off.

Lets go 2 the scriptures where there were many miracles done with the power of the holy spirit and where the holy spirit was poured out onto people after pentecost.

Also just 2 mention a prophecy from david in pslams Acts 1:16 Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.

Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 5:12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.

Acts 5:15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Acts 6:5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

Acts 6:8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

Acts 8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

Acts 9:40 peter raised a woman from the dead.

Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

Acts 19:1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,

2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

So u see hear folks, many works and miracles and out poring of the holy spirit after Pentecost in acts.

Don’t be fooled by these silly erroneous doctrines which go totally against the bible which are purposely made by the enemy 2 deceive you and turn u away from the truth and 2 destroy ur faith.

Take authority against the demons God has given it 2 his children and don’t be fearful, don’t be weary, Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

You got that wrong. Not since Pentecost, since the bibles completion mid 90's AD. Obviously there were miracles done after Pentecost in Acts 2. However, you cannot prove one ounce that miracles happen today.

Miracles were done to confirm the word and prove Jesus was who he said he was (ie Mark 16:20; John 20:30-31). Miracles are things done that are supernatural and against what happens naturally. Nothing like that happens anymore, nor can you prove it. However, because they do not happen anymore, that is all the proof I need especially when scripture says so.

1 Corinthians 13:8-10
Ephesians 4:11-14

The word does not need confirming anymore. Jesus already proved who he was/is.

Since miracles were to confirm the word, I dont see anyone going out in public healing a terminally ill person with but a touch. Or someone that has been crippled since birth, or even people like Stephen Hawking. It just doesnt happen.

People talking in tongues back in Peter and Pauls day were speaking actually languages. Not this gibberish you hear now days. The Greek word literally says in another language or dialect. Not some weird hibbity who haa gibberish. But an actual language spoken by nations or peoples.

People with visions and prophecy actually had them back in those times. Now days they get proved wrong time and time again when the said event that was suppose to happen never does.

Nope, none of these claimants are out there going around doing these things to the masses. Why? Because those gifts have been done away with.

I agree that in acts, tongues spoken were a known language used the edify those there who spoke and understood a different language. But I disagree that miracles have been done a way with. Those same verses you shared indicate that they are not.

1 Corinthians 13:8-10 This verse says til the time of perfection come, they wont be done away with.
Ephesians 4:11-14 Verse 13 and 14 say: This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.

Do you believe that we are have reached perfection as a body, at this point? Are we measuring up to complete standard of Messiah ? I find it hard to believe we have.

Miracle still happen. Gifts are still being expressed and experienced. I have my own experiences with witnesses to confirm that to me. These have always edified, confirmed things to, and built up the body. Gifts strengthen us in our efforts to spreading the gospel, getting deeper understanding, and encouraging us in endurance. They are not for show or to be a draw for people, but to point the the power and majesty that is of our Father.

There are many pretenders who make false doctrines and glorify giftings for pride sake and they muddy the waters greatly. But God is still equipping people. The good work is not yet done.

Miracle still happen.
Yet no one can bring one forth. Miracles were meant to be spread around to confirm the word. I do not see that today. The word does not need confirming anymore and Jesus already proved who he was.

Miracles are supernatural that goes against what is natural. That doesnt happen today.

Man can not do any miracles, only God performs miracles for those who put their faith in him! Whatever is not of faith is sin.
All things are possible to him who believes.

It wasnt my intention to say that "Man can do miracles" apart from God. The NT showed that the Holy Spirit had to be in someone before they could do such things.

My point is that while Gods providence is working no doubt even today, miracles (supernatural) that go against the natural things, do not happen anymore according to scripture.

Is not "walking in the Spirit" walking against the natural things that are seen?

No. Not to this which you refer. What I mean...

Isaiah 48:16-18 - God leads when we follow His commandments

Psalms 119:105 - It is done with the word of God, showing us a pathway to walk

Galatians 5:16-25 - Walk in the Spirit defined here too

This to think about:
How does the Spirit produces things like love, joy, patience, etc in our lives if not through the Word that He has given us?

And

Surely it doesn’t take a miraculous intervention in a person’s life to follow the Spirit into these things, does it?

Hence we walk by the same rule - Philippians 3:16

We walk according to the Spirit because the law of the Spirit freed us - Romans 8:1-2, also people who pursue spiritual things, pursue the things of the Spirit. - Romans 8:5-6

Edit:
So what you are referring to is simple obedience not miracles

It does, it takes the "miracle" of the new birth (new creation) before anyone can even begin to learn to walk in the Spirit

Where in the Bible are you going to find God telling you to go to a certain person's house and pray for them, or go to another country and minister there? Where are you going to find in scripture to marry your future wife? Who tells you anything not found in scripture pertaining to a specific task God wants you to do?

I am not sure if you really understood or read the question carefully.

Surely it doesn’t take a miraculous intervention in a person’s life to follow the Spirit into these things, does it?

Now read Galatians 5:16-25 since it tells us how to walk in the spirit. None of which require miraculous things to happen.

Obedience is obeying the command to walk in the Spirit, (which is by faith) and not by sight that is totally against natural things that are seen!
No, that is not a miracle. Faith is a complete trust or confidence in something. That does not require a miracle. Someone can simply look at how the human body is made and how it functions and begin to believe in God. That is not a miracle. Though, I would contend that there is a thing called providence.

Gods Providence example:
A man as a child wishes to become a doctor and studies really hard. Meanwhile a horrible diseases rattles the human population, Polio. Through the prayers of many (a spiritual blessing, not a miracle) God saw fit to allow this man (grant him) the ability to increase his education and become a leading scientist in the development of a vaccine for polio. The vaccine applied to most areas around the globe reducing the infections from over 350,000 cases in 1988 to just a little over 480 in 2001. A reduction of 99%. Through which there were people who became obedient Christians.

That is providence.

Though again, it doesnt take a miracle to have faith. Again, faith is complete trust in something or someone. That is not a miracle.

Where in the Bible are you going to find God telling you to go to a certain person's house and pray for them, or go to another country and minister there? Where are you going to find in scripture to marry your future wife? Who tells you anything not found in scripture pertaining to a specific task God wants you to do?
First question praying for people:
Philippians 2:3-4
James 5:13-16
Galatians 6:1
Ephesians 6:18

Second question ministering:
Matthew 28:19-20
Pauls epistles
Peters epistle
Book of Acts

Third future wife:
Psalm 37:4
1 Corinthians 7

Fourth, Who tells you anything not found in scripture pertaining to a specific task God wants you to do?

No one should. The bible is Gods word. It is complete since the last apostle wrote revelation as directed by God through the Holy Spirit. The safe bet for anyone is that if someone tells you something about scripture, search diligently in scripture to see if what they say is so. Like the Bereans.

Because I have scripture that explicitly states there wont be miracles after "that which is perfect is complete", I know for a fact that if someone comes to me and says they have healing gifts, I know they lie or have been deceived themselves.

That which is perfect is the scriptures. Jesus is not a that, he is a he. So I would venture to say that "that which is perfect" refers to an object which would be Gods word and a completion of scriptures.

Again, miracles were to confirm the word and that Jesus was the messiah told about in the OT, Mark 16:20

We do not need that anymore today. And so, miracles have ceased, 1 Corinthians 13:8-10.

Sorry to inform you that your interpretation of scriptures concerning that which is "perfect is come" is in error!
Even though scripture is perfect no matter how much of it you have, we still to this day do not have all of it!!!

Joh 21:25 Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.

Anyone who is a student of scripture understands that context is necessary to understand what is being said.

1Co 13:9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part,
1Co 13:10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away.
1Co 13:11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.

Just to make sure the reader of this scripture does not come up with some kind crazy ideas that are not meant Paul explains what he is talking about in verse 11

1Co 13:10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away.
1Co 13:11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.

The "perfect" is NOT referring to the word of God but a "child" of God growing into a full-grown man!! A perfect man is a "mature" man! This is what the fivefold ministry is all about!

Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: (KJV)

The ESV tranlations of verse 13 says......

Eph 4:13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,

The perfect mature Christain is that which he is when he comes to maturity which is the fullness of the stature of Christ!

My God in whom I serve is a miracle-working God and he has been performing miracles in my life and family for over 40+ years.

If you do not believe God is the same yesterday today and forever in what he does then that just shows you where your faith is.

The bible is Gods word.
The Bible is NOT the Word of God as there is only "one" Jesus who is the Word (singular) of God. The Bible contains words (plural) that God has said in the past but they are NOT Jesus who alone is the Word of God!!

Jesus even said so......

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

The words (plural) in scripture only point to Jesus who is the Word (singular) of God!

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17)So then Faith comes by hearing the voice of Jesus who is the Word!!

Joh 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

You can follow what you can not hear that only happens by faith which his (Jesus) voice brings

The scriptures instruct and point to the one who gives life who is the living Word who leads and guides his sons in real-time. Scripture reveals God's way and methods in how works with man, but they do not give specific details what man is required to do or say unless he can hear the voice of the Word (singular) of God who alone is Jesus Christ!

This is walking in the Spirit and not in the flesh!

Your feelings of me aside (considered deflection), either way you want to look at it, it doesnt negate the fact that Paul states the miracles will be done away. But love faith and hope of which are not miracles. If people would stop deflecting and creating strawman points, they can see this.

God has done providence in your life, not miracles. Try to understand the difference between supernatural and natural.

Side note: This has nothing to do at all with God being the same yesterday today and forever, and everything to do with what he told paul to write [a strawman point you brought up]

The Bible is NOT the Word of God
2 Timothy 3:16-17
Mark 13:31

Do I really need more than this to convince you?
