I am embarrassed to talk about this, but I suffer from sever mental afflictions and addictions. I have a mental illness and I can't stop my addictions too.
I try so hard to come close to Jesus and I do seek Him each and every day. I am a single mother age 45, who is so lonely. I feel like I am dying and I probably am from all my addictions. Jesus healing me, is the only answer.
I wasn't taught about the love of Jesus, as I grew up and found myself blaming Him instead of accepting His grace and forgiveness.
I truly want to be with the Lord Jesus Christ and accept His healing grace. It would be such a blessing to feel better about myself and feel both physically and spiritually healthy. I don't think I will live too much longer, if I continue abusing myself.
I am finacially suffering too and the burden is great.
I am always kind and decent to people.
I sure could use a few miracles Jesus, particularly with You as my Teacher. I love You GodJesus. You are so important to me. Please heal me completely, so that I don't suffer any longer.
Amen
I am dying from drug and alchohol addictions. I need the Holy Spirit to bring me out of my pain and heal me with the love of Jesus Christ.

Get with Saved Believers.

What church do you frequent?
Perhaps you should visit a few?
Pick your favority Spiritual TV Evangelist and listen for the LORD's voice.

One of my favorites is Joyce Myers, she is almost all ways on target with the LORD.

Start Believeing right now in God's promises and stop leting your feelings sway you to and fro.

Pixie,
It is good to hear from you.

Do not give up. The Lord Loves you so much, He will be with you always.
It is important to seek Pastoral counsel, You would benfit from it tremendously, there are programs out there that can help(financialy as well) (Like Lutheran Community services) you get the help you need and are asking for. A Pastor would be a person to seeek for Pastors have many resources and if the one you come into contact does not he will know or help you find someone who does.

I will continue to pray for you my sister.

Peace be with you,
Your Brother in Christ,
John.

Hello Pixie, I feel your pain and you have so much to cope with. I pray the Lord will direct you to those of His angels here on earth who can help you. This is not something you can do alone. The Lord has bestowed great talents on professional people who can and will help you if you reach out. My sister is an alcohoilc who has been sober for 16 years through her fellowship in Alcoholics Anonymous. You have already taken the first brave step by admitting your problem. The Lord reminds us "Ask and it will be given, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened unto you" - these are the infallible word of Jesus our Saviour. Let Him become active in your life. There are certain things you can control and rather than remain in despair sister take the first steps towards recovery. Depression is a downward spiral - you know I face many challenges also- but I asked for and received help and I am coping. Its not easy and I do not pretend that for one moment the way ahead will be without obstacles but the Lord is with you and your Christian friends all over the world are parying with you. Look at your phone book.Find a help line that will start you on your way. May God strengthen you.

Nicholas.

Dearest Sister,
Speak LOVE to yourself. Not lies from hell, this is what the enemy wants. Do not be embarrassed by any struggle you are having on this earth. They all come from the same source and it is not Jesus. BUT, He won the battle for you by dying and shedding His blood. We are all suffering every day in some way, but our desire is to give Jesus our hurts and keep on in His word, by reaching out to one another like you did and Jesus is by your side this very minute because you said "I want to accept His healing grace..." We want to see immediate results but this isn`t how it works unfortunately. BUT the good news is...I found this out the hard way...There is a purpose for what you are suffering, did you know this? There might be someone now who is just beginning to learn about Jesus who will need your help. You alone will be the person who can perhaps help a child of God because of what you have suffered. Yes you hurt and even suffer the consequences of the decisions that came with addictions or we could call it sin!?...but this too is the plan of the enemy but the plan of God is too bring you, carry you right on into His light, into His glory. Please be patient with yourself, God is! He made you, He knew you before the world came to be, YOU are so very important to him. Psalms 3:1 says he lift`s up our heads" {paraphrase)
Think of it..our God who made the universe takes the time to reach down take your head gently in His hands and lift up your head! My sister...envision yourself looking into His eyes and seeing a God who UNDERSTANDS, a God who LOVES you!! This very minute feel His enduring love and know that He will see you through. The man who Jesus healed at the pool of Bethsaida was crippled for 37? yrs.(not sure of the amt. of time)..but it was for GOD`S glory and that alone is an awesome thought. Nothing is allowed without God knowing about it. Everything is for God`s glory, what an awesome thought.I will keep you in my prayers continually but know that you are healed by the stripes that Jesus bore for you...look to Him and believe.
God Bless, stacy
