As Christians we need to be able to quote Bible verses. We need this skill especially when we are on the street witnessing. Also, it would come in handy just in our daily conversation.
I will be posting new verses to remember daily or maybe weekly. To remember a Bible verse we need time and we need to focus on one Bible verse.
This Bible verse that I'm going to post first is a very important Bible verse. If you learn verse along with other verses you can lead someone to the Lord. Remember, ask God to help you be able to remember it by praying before you start.
Romans 10:9
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." KJV
First remember the verse number. Romans 10:9..say it over and over.
Alright, I will divide this verse up into 3 sections. A, B & C.
If you got the verse number down let's go on to the first part of the verse...
A.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
Say it over and over again until you get it.
Ok, now the next part of the verse...
B.
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
How are you doing so far? Alright, the last part of the verse.
C.
thou shalt be saved.
thou shalt be saved.
thou shalt be saved.
Ok, now let's put that all together.
Romans 10:9
A.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
B.
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
C.
thou shalt be saved.
Keep on saying it over and over as the day goes on. Wait a hour then see if you remember it. Then see if you remember it tomorrow. Remembering verses is a very important thing that we need to do as Christians. It is time to stop being lazy and put our extra time to use.
I hope this study will provoke you to remember other verses in the Bible and also help you when you're witnessing to the lost.
May God Bless you all
Romans 10:17
"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." KJV
