Lord
I still miss them
I still think about them
I still wonder were i would be now had i not followed your footsteps

I envy them sometimes
When lonelyness knocks on my door
I envy them when i think about the love that was there

I get scared sometimes without them
They were my barrier for so long
Sometimes i hear my name ,my heart stops
Untill i realise its not them calling

Is it wrong for me to miss them?
Is it wrong for me to envy them?
Is it wrong for me to feel scared without them ?

Did i not replace them with you my Lord ?
Did i not choose your protection over theres ?
Should they not envy me for i have found everlasting life ?
Should i not be allowed to feel peace ?

Is it wrong to love them?

Father I thank you that you will is being done in my life. Thank you for your word that instructs me to lean not on my own understanding, but on you.
Lord I thank you that you direct my footsteps every day, and guide me in the way I should go. You lead me to still waters and green pastures and wisdom is mine.
Lord I thank you that you make my mistakes to prosper, and that even when I miss it you keep me on the path of your will for my life.

I cast my cares on you for you care for me.

Sweet prayer poem sister mounty, nice response brother Stephen.

Sister, I feel like you. I chose Christ over my family's ways (catholicism or even lack of any Jesus in their lives for some members). It hurts, but in the end, we are all given freedom to choose and we must choose Jesus first, foremost. After all, who is our first father? Our Father is in Heaven. He was, is and always will be. Amen

For He is the light of the world,
He came to set us free.
Free from hate, bitterness and lust,
Born to love and care, His word is just.


DAWN

Dawn rising pure and bright,
Emerging from the secret night.
New life stirring greets this morn,
Innocent as a baby born.
Awakened hearts, souls refreshed,
Nature’s flowers newly dressed.
God’s glory surrounds us, what wonders we see,
This beautiful gift, given for you and me.
Amidst all the turmoil’s and troubles in the world,
God still remains faithful, His banner unfurled.
Our Creator and lifeline, our Saviour who cares,
Jesus our Redeemer, our heartache He shares.
Guidance and blessings comes from Him with love,
Born by the Holy Spirit, the light from above.
