"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it" --Isaiah 55:11.

I was thinking about this verse in connection with the Sower' parable. Will God's word still accomplish its purpose in a soil that is not faith based.
I think the answer is Yes, for if not no one on earth would get saved....
but tell me what you think
Peace to you all,

This is the way I picture it, though not specifically stated in the Bible:

Christ, the Son's love &/or words ...

1st: removes barriers, briars, & rocks
.
2nd: tills the ground
.
3rd: plants the seeds
.
4th: waters it & shines on it to incourage it to grow & multiply/spread

Hope this is helpful.
