Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:20)

Jesus promised that He will always be with us, even to the end of the age. We as Christians have Christ as our authority and comfort. He is the Emmanuel (the God who came to earth to live with us) and though He has ascended to the Father, even so, He remains to live with us.

This song really hit home for me. Even when God does not answer the way we hope, He is always our Hope. Blessings, Trinity

Thank you my good friend for your thread on the promise of our Lord to be with us. I was studying, this morning, Ephesians chapter one and this goes along with your thoughts....

Ephesians 1:13 "In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,
1:14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory."

O the promises of our Almighty God thru His Son, Jesus the Christ. The blessed Holy Spirit Who also is the result of Jesus' promise will guarantee that the promise you mentioned will come true in the New Jerusalem. AND I CAN'T WAIT!!
