Say among the heathen [that] the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. (Psalm 96:10)

The Lord will judge the people of the earth with all equity and justice. All men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and all men ought be judged unworthy (Romans 3:23). Fortunately though, you who are given faith in Christ are not judged for your works, for Christ has been judged in your place! Amen!

Has Christ indeed been judged in our place? Or has he not rather sacrificed himself so that we may have Life?

Adam and Eve had before them the Way to Life, but they chose instead the way of death. They made their choice and we along with them were set on the pathway of death.

But Jesus has given us a new choice because before He came we had no real enduring choice, other than the death which was already ours.

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10

Are we not to be judged for our works once we have the Holy Spirit in us to lead us? If we limit God by rejecting the counsel and lead of the Holy Spirit in us, are we not making anew the same wrong choice that Adam and Eve made in the Garden of Eden?

Thank you brother @amadeus2
We will be judged in the end for our works, all of us. Consider this piece of scripture:
"And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before the throne, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged from what was written in the books, according to their works" (Revelation 20:12). We can see clearly, that all will be judged, not only unbelievers.
