PROMINENT IN CHRIST'S SERVICE

Spurgeon understood that the highest spiritual position is to serve, not to be served...tho as evidenced in this quote....according to even those preachers in his time... a man who could draw crowds like he could, should have spent his life taking his ease from 'church service to church service' and letting others serve him, not wasting his talents serving the lost and the poor and the needy.


Mar 9:33 Jesus ... asked the disciples, "What were you arguing about on the road?"

Mar 9:34 But they kept silent, for on the road they had argued with one another about who was the greatest.

Mar 9:35 So he sat down and called the twelve. He told them,
