I am seeking prayers.
My family isn't very close. however, I try to stay very close to everyone in my family because I live so far away. (CA from NC)
One person I am the closest to was my Aunt. (I say was because we are no longer talking )
I found out some things she has been saying about my sister and I. I didn't agree with it at all and confronted her about them and she ultimately denied everything I said. I pushed it further.. making her mad and she began saying things out of anger. The next thing I know she doesn't want to have anything to do with me anymore and is bashing me to other family members and people I don't even know. I am unsure if this is because I found out what she had been saying and confronted her.... The only reason I pushed the subject is because I was defending my sister... she didn't need to be talked about in such a negative/vulgar way. Well, the days to come the same people my aunt was talking to about us began emailing my sister and attacking her for her weight, looks, where she lives, her husband... just things that had no relevance to them at all. I decided to tell my aunt that I could no longer have a relationship with her b/c of the events that took place. Not realizing how much it was truly going to hurt me. was this the right thing to do?
Please say an extra prayer for my family and that the Lord guides me through this difficult time.
