Prayer Request for Friday

Greetings,

Tomorrow is a very important day. I am taking my daughter for her Intake Interview at Discovery House at 2:30. I ask that everyone pray that the Lord have his way and lead her and get her into the Facility that He wants her to be in.

I have wanted my daughter to go to this particular Rehab since we first started looking for Rehabs which is nearly two years ago. Since then this facility has moved into a brand new building in a new location. They used to be located in an old building on the old Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital grounds, which was a horrible looking place. You can actually google that Hospital and it is on the internet because of how horrible it is. It is consider to be one of New Jersey's Weird Places...LOL. Despite the location it still had an excellent program and they work with families during rehabilatation.

I just can't praise God enough for how much he has blessed us, that my daughter wants to go now more then anything. She is doing so fantastic, having rededicated her life to the Lord. We very much want her to go to the Rehab that the Lord wants her to be in so that she will get the best recovery possible. So, all we can do is call places and if she gets an appointment, which I have to say it was a miracle that she called on Monday and was given an appointment for Friday in the same week!!

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for praying for us. I praise God for having Talk Jesus to come to and ask for prayer and knowing that there will be prayer because this is a real Christian site where people really do care for one another. Praise God!!!!

It definitely sounds like God's got this one in His hand.
I pray that if this is the place God wants your daughter to go, that the doors would be opened, the people in authority would do all that it takes to make this happen (paperwork, authorizations, etc).
Lord, if this is not the place she should be, please close the doors and show this parent where You are leading. Make it very clear.
Give them wisdom. Show them Your love.
Help this daughter change the attitudes in her mind (Eph 4:23) and put on the new self.
Thank You so much that this person has a desire to change, to be made new--- she belongs to You!! Fashion her into the pottery of Your choosing and make her useful to Your kingdom. Lead her into the ministry You desire her to be in. Give her the gifts and talents and desires to be Your servant- set apart for Your good works.
Remind her constantly that she is more than a conquerer!!

hi Katzie! I am glad things are working in your favor! I pray,too that doors will be opened for your daughter and that she will really hold onto God and become the woman He meant for her to be. Though it may be a long process, it sounds like she is heading in the right direction. Hope you are feeling better as well. May our Lord and Savior bless your family and keep you all safe under His wings.
