Highly called,I feel led from the Lord to tell you this story. A few months after receiving Jesus as Lord of my Life,I was playing Tennis with a good brother,I went to serve,and I threw out my back,I mean I really did a number on it!!
It was so bad I could not walk. I crawled to the car,and was taken home. I went to prayer believing as you that God did not at all want me to suffer from this intense pain I was in,so I got to work in the prayer closet.
After a couple of hours just praising God through all the pain I was in,I felt this great peace come over me,and Holy Spirit just as clear as if I was standing next to you,told me this,Mark,find and speak out loud every healing scripture from Gen to Rev, by the time you finish the last healing scripture,you will be as you already are in my eyes.
I know this sounds quite odd!! LOL But when you are in that much pain,what has one got to lose? So I began. reading out loud,so that my ears could gain faith.( rom 10:17) after about an hour and a half,I got to the final healing scripture I could find in the Word.
I spoke 1 peter 2:24 and when I had finish the pain had left me,I stood up,jumping and praising God,my friends heard my cry from another area of the house and came a running!! I said LOOK!! Jesus healed me!! I was so happy, and never had that pain again.
Now first off, I do not know where you are in your faith to the Lord,and I sure cannot, nor will judge this either! Later in my life I had a heart attack,I went to Jesus again,but this time,the pain remained.I felt bad,that my faith did not match this.BUT!! I went to the doctor,I needed 8 stents put into my heart,2 of the doctors recieved Jesus with me in the operating room,as 6 of the stents did not need me to be knocked out,of course I felt some pain while laying there,but proclaimed Jesus to them as I was there.
Had Jesus touched me,he could not have touched them!! And Jesus gave me comfort after this,as I was thinking about my lack of faith. ( 2 Cor 12:9-10!!!!!) My prayers are with you my brother!! Fear not!
Do the very best you can in your faith,then let Jesus do the rest for you!! I know many hit on others, when there faith lacks,or so it seems to lack,but as you well know things are not always as they appear!!( 2 Cor 4:7-18!!) verse 18! While we look NOT at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen,for the things which are seen are temporal,BUT!! the things which are not seen are eternal! these things brother!! Matt 6:19-21!!
