I often here Christians talk about their 'prayer list'. I know that we are ment to pray for all people but especialy those we know and love.

To be honest i find personal praying very hard, and fear im doing it wrong.
What i want to know is;
*Do we make an actual list of names and needs?
*If so, is it a permanant list or can it be changed
when and as needed?
*Should my prayer time be structered, in a certain
order for a certain time?
*If so how do i stop my prayer time being repetitive
and make it from my heart?
*Is there a differance between prayer to the Lord
and general chit-chat?
*Does it matter if we pray silently or out loud?

What i want to know is;
*Do we make an actual list of names and needs? You can if you'd like so it's easier to keep track but no, you don't have to.
*If so, is it a permanant list or can it be changed
when and as needed? You can change it whenever you'd like.
*Should my prayer time be structered, in a certain
order for a certain time? General you pray according to the order of Matthew 6:9-13, but not those actually words. You don't need to pray for a certain amount of time, but the more prayer, the better
*If so how do i stop my prayer time being repetitive
and make it from my heart? Talk to God like you're talking to your dad. Thank Him for what he's done in your life, ask Him to forgive your wrongs and sins. Ask Him to make you a good daughter and transform you into who He wants you to be.
*Is there a differance between prayer to the Lord
and general chit-chat? Yes, prayer is when you talk to God and chit-chat is when you talk to everyone else
*Does it matter if we pray silently or out loud? Nope, you can pray either way. Personally I pray out loud, but when noone is around so they can't hear me!
