Prayer for today, July 23rd 2008

We bring the sacrifice of praise, into the House of the Lord
And I offer up to you the sacrifices of thanksgiving,
And I offer up to you the sacrifices of joy.

Father I praise you for you are Holy, you are faithful and you are righteous.
There is none like you, no one else can touch my heart like you do.

Father I thank you for giving me another day, for your mercy and love. I thank you for cleansing me from my sins. I thank you for being my healer, provider, counsellor and protector.

Lord I give this day to you, let it not be my will but yours be done.
I plead the blood of Jesus upon my family.
I plead the blood of Jesus upon my house
I plead the blood of Jesus upon the places I'll visit today.
I plead the blood of Jesus upon my friends.
I plead the blood of Jesus upon my enemies.
I plead the blood upon my life.

I love you Lord, and I ask that your Holy Spirit fill me right now, that I may walk in the fruits of your spirit today.

This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it.
Amen.
