Dearly beloved Christians,

I am pleading for your prayers for my brother, I have not been online that often since we had this problem... Our family is going through a tough one.

My brother was recently diagnosed with anxiety/depression, He is a Christian, a very devoted one and even speaks at Church.

We have no idea that he's been going through this lately, it was just one afternoon that he burst crying while we are eating. . .

He has always been the Spiritually strong one and makes us all laugh whenever we need one. He shares the Gospel very strongly and desires to grow in Christ more and more.

I know that it is the devil that has struck him, he knows the weakness of my brother...

Our family, so as the church are all being supportive, we never let him be alone and do all things to keep him happy.

There are moments hes really ok and get along with all of us... but then he would suddenly be not ok and just cry again.

He trust the Lord deeply... but he is troubled at times and feel sorry for being weak... I know that anxiety is just like any disease that can struck any Christian. And we are also being comforted, that some Christians have gone through the same situation too.

Above all our hope is in Christ... no the devil cannot defeat my brother...
God is mightier. He is our fortress...

Psalm 46:7 The LORD Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Selah

Please pray for him and for our family. It breaks our heart to see him in that condition...

I however believe that God is working in it... the situation has changed my dad's heart... it have made our relationship as a family stronger and many more that I foresee God will use this transition to change us the way He created us to be...

But please, please do still pray that my brother be healed...

Thank you so much.. im am out of words as of now, I want to say more but my fingers cannot type any longer...

God...i call into your name... and beg you... heal him.

Dear Sister,

let not your heart be troubled.

Your brother is sealed in Christ, and what he is going through is a season of emptying and cleansing, a time of drawing closer to the One he loves, the One who loves his soul.

Outwardly, it appears very sad... yet, Jesus our love and light is in control, for He is the Lord.
Forget the devil and instead, praise Jesus and desire only Him.

Please tell your brother that we are praying for him, that although he might not fully understand, seeing through the glass darkly for now, it will all be revealed in due time.

The Lord is true in all He does. As your brother goes through this time, expect the glory of God in Christ Jesus the Lord to shine brightly into the heart and mind and soul and spirit of your brother whom you love and whom the Lord Jesus loves even more.

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

In every storm we encounter in our lives, it is then we must remember the Prince of Peace, Jesus, the lover of our souls, and if He loves us, which He does, with such intense love that nothing can quench, we can trust in His love and as we look to Him and stay our minds on Him and let His peace rule in our hearts and minds.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Philippians 4:7-8

Bless you Truehearts, in Jesus holy name,

Br. Bear

God is our refuge and strength an ever present help in trouble Psalm 46:1

Dear sister Truehearts

May the Lord bless you and strengthen you at this time.

I praise our dear Lord for your brother's salvation and rejoice in the knowledge that no matter how bad things seem....he belongs to our beloved Lord Jesus and is eternally secure.

As Br.Bear wrote in his post your brother is sealed in Christ...may you and your brother take comfort in those words. Rest in His wonderful promise that all things work together for good to them that love God (Rom 8:28)

I have been reading a little Spurgeon today.......

I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction Isaiah 48:10

Fear not for I am with thee Isaiah 43:5

Spurgeon wrote of the above verses

Sickness thou mayest intrude; but I have a balsam ready- God has chosen me. Whatever befall me in this vale of tears, I know that He has chosen me.
Fear not Christian Jesus is with thee, in all thy fiery trials. His presence is both thy comfort and safety. He will never leave one whom He has chosen for His own. 'Fear not for I am with thee' is His sure word of promise to His chosen ones in 'the furnace of affliction'

I have and will continue to pray for your brother, yourself and your family, that there will be healing, peace and love in abundance.

The Lord bless you sister Truehearts

Amen to that Bro. Bear

I just love to quote Paul's words when experiencing such time of emptying and cleansing..

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 2 Corinthians 4:16-17

Sister Gen,

Trust in the Lord with all your heart..
God will surely uphold your brother...

He promised "He will never let the righteous fall." Psalm 37:23

I have been praying for you and your family.
Glad also to hear from you about your family's devotion and service to the Lord..

God bless you richly!!!

Sister in Christ,

Reymielin
