Prayer for discerning the Holy Spirit's voice

We all face situations daily where in decisions have to be made. These decisions can have significances of ANY magnitude.

For instance, there's this new movie called "Limitless". It's got a great story behind it and is really entertaining. But there are a few scenes which are ungodly (in which the protagonist has intercourse with women without being married). So I faced a decision whether to watch that movie or not.

Now, as Christians, we always try to make the decisions which God approves of. Now we know that the Holy Spirit leads us in our walk with Jesus. He gives us direction/instruction.

What I need help with is discerning His direction. So I sincerely ask that you readers please pray for me and all Christians that we may be strengthened in this KEY area for ensuring daily victory with the Lord.

Hello Oswinium.

There seems to be a lot of movies with the compulsory sex scene. I do not enjoy watching other people have sex, i do not understand why they insert private matters in the public domain?

There are very few movies that a Christian could safely watch. A movie that deals with the truth of life is extremely rare. In fact "Christians" portrayed in movies are usually simple or mad.

I am not a fan of movies or tv except for the news and documentaries.

It is also interesting just how many movies use the name of Jesus as a swear word some where within the dialogue. You have to pay careful attention to notice this, a product of a Jewish controlled movie industry.
