I really didn't know where to post this, but maybe here is good? I recently contacted an agency in the state I was adopted in. A Confidential Intermediary to help me with trying to locate my biological mother. I received an email yesterday from them explaining in short, the process of what they do and sending me more information in the mail. This is my best chance of ever finding her or anything about her or her relatives. My family will not discuss anything related to it with me at all. I was adopted by my dad's sister and she gets really angry if I try to bring up the subject about my adoption, so I leave her alone about it. So, that is why I feel this is really my only chance in locating her. I am not looking for a happy reunion, I want to know medical information, and I would like to find out about my heritage on that side. If she doesn't want contact, that is fine I understand. I do want her to know that I do not hate her, I harbor no bitterness towards her at all. If she wants contact then I am fine with that too. As for my (adopted) mom, despite our differences, I love her and she will always be my mom. I strongly feel this is something I have to do.

My prayer request: that I can at least receive some medical information and see how her life has been, maybe even a phone call or a letter, even if it is just one and that she has accepted Jesus in her life too.

Thank you for any prayers.

Hello sister, wanted to share this with you; 1Corinthians15:57,58- But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Praying that you find what you seek.

God bless

I started filling out some of the papers and I admit I get all kinds of mixed emotions about it. I know it is something I have to do.
Thanks for your prayers!
