Pray for my anger

Alot of my thoughts have been becoming words.. and my thoughts arnt good thoughts.
I think rude things.. and the rude things come out so fast .. I dont have time to stop them. I just had a huge fight withsome who use to be a best friend but isnt particularly a good one anymore.. for sometime now we havnt got along. Im not going to explain our flight although I feel I was in the right in my heart.. I may have said some no nice things because she wasnt letting it go.

Please pray for my thoughts to stay thought, or better, to be replaced with only nice thoughts

Prayer for Anger
(Psalm 4:4)
Lord God, please forgive me when I have not used self-control because of my anger. In my life and in the lives of those I love, please bring healing and restoration to the areas which have been damaged or hurt because of anger. Search my heart! Speak to me! Help me become still when my emotions feel out of control. Help me not to sin in my anger, but use this energy instead to work through problems in a constructive way. Likewise, help these others on my heart learn to manage their anger in a godly way. In the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

That's natural,it's the Holy Spirit that shows us the those thoughts in us so he can bring them to the surface and cast light on them.
Actually if you are "in Christ" they are no longer your thoughts.
When you try to stop doing "any thing" you feel might not be pleasing to God,then that thing's existence in you is threatened.
So in desperation it tries to exert its authority over your life.

Proverbs 18:21 The power of the tongue is life and death— those who love to talk will eat what it produces.

It just wants it's life back so it must get you to do it's will and speak its words.
Also,it's important tospeak life into your life and those around you and into every situation.

1 Corinthians 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

This verse is telling us that we don't know the spirit of man or the spirit of God.
I think anger is from the spirit of man and love is from the Spirit of God.
A soul is a house for spirits so when I hear sarcasm,pride,hatred or anger coming out of my mouth I stop talking.
Then I will say or think,"I reject that spirit,and I only want to hear the Holy Spirit that Jesus sent.

You have my prayers. You have allowed your anger to control your words, you must first let go of the pride of winning arguements, and accept that the free choice God gives you to make good or bad decisions, is a good thing, and apply it in your conversations with others. You dont have to change thier mind to accept the premise you believe to be
true. Simply and quickly and humbly present your own premise, and then drop it. Your message went out, and if it was meant to change the mind of another, it will do so, and if it wasnt, it wont.
