Please pray that I stay strong on my road to recovering from an alcohol addiction. Also that I stay out of trouble, and continue to live a righteous life.

I will pray for you my brother. I too suffered from the same dependencies. I can assure you that JESUS can rescue us, and that he is our only true "Higher Power" I will have 26 years soberity next month and I'm here to tell you that if I can do it, ANYBODY can. God bless you brother for turning away from that addiction. Stepping away is the first step and the most important step. Next step, pray often for the strength you will need to combat the desires for a drink. I will of course add my prayers to yours. Jesus has the power and will to help you accomplish this beautiful step of faith needed for your spiritual growth.... Depend on Him in prayer throughout your time coming.... Daily at the least, hourly if possible.

Alcohol can unlock a wrong confidence that's like you are skipping scenes of a romance movie to find out marriage is right for you - but only to find out later that it was just a short date when you become yourself again. Alcohol creates a reality that you want and how everyone should listen and obey your commands. Something I experienced in my late 20s and now in my 40s, I have become wise enough to know that our future reality of everlasting positive feelings is with Jesus inside his future-coming Kingdom of God .;*;. Rev 21:2 .;*;. where the 'water of life' (not alcohol) will give us a pure taste of real supernatural joy and positive peace as we socialize as brothers and sisters of Christ inside his community-built city.
I can imagine that free accommodation with advanced strong hazard-free materials towards a green clean lifestyle will mean that we won't have to worry about the health and safety standards on our home suburbs outside God's kingdom where they: modern homes, luxury hotels, motels, caravan homes and homes made of trash - will return to the soil .;*;.
