Hello everyone..

My boyfriend just lost his job of 8 months. The people he worked for completely dragged him along and lied to him. He was told he would make management in July, which is an obvious lie. They were hiring a bunch of people recently and they assured him that his job was secure, that was a lie. Everytime someone decided not to come in, the manager would call him at 5am to come in early or when it was supposed to be his day off.. he came in everytime with no complaint. They just treated him horrible but he stayed with the job because we need the money. Now, they fire him and give him a lame excuse that their labor costs are too high. There were others that were doing badly and really should've been cut.

Now, we have a car payment due, we have rent, I have two kids that live with me and he needs a job. I am unable to work as I'm on disability. He has a chance at a couple of jobs that seem promising. He has been to the interview and now we wait. So, I really need any and all prayer warriors to please pray for this situation. I appreciate your time in reading my request and for praying.

Thank you and God Bless

Tina, in the name of Jesus I lift you and yours up to our Father in heaven. May He richly bless all your efforts.

Sometimes, when things get hectic in life, I need to take spiritual inventory. One thing I've noticed is that when I line my life up with the Word of God, things smooth out a great deal as we take back territory from Satan in our hearts. When we do things that are rebellious to God's ways, we give up territory to Satan in our hearts. You say that he's your "boyfriend." Perhaps you should take this relationship more seriously, as there are children involved. Marriage is a covenant before the LORD. Maybe it's time to do some spiritual housecleaning and ask God to help you get lined up with His will more and get married to this fella?

The best place to be in life is close to the LORD. Sometimes we only see that when things get really hard. I pray this message will bless you and draw you near to Jesus that He may be your Provider and Guide in this life.

My 'children' are ages 19 and 13 and they are not my boyfriends children. Honestly, I doubt that God is going to 'punish' me for not being married to this individual. I believe I am still 'worthy' of being prayed for and if not, well, i suppose I just won't ask anymore if I'm going to be judged by the fact that I have a 'boyfriend'.

Dear Sister Tina.

We are all just looking out for you and on this site, if one of our brothers or sisters cry for help, we sometimes get a bit zealous and try to help everywhere we can, please forgive us if it sounded like we were stoning you for something, bygracealone only mentioned it in love and carring.

May our Lord Jesus Christ, use your boyfriends situation to bring glory to His Name for ALL things work to the good of those that love Him (Romans 8:28)

Blessings to you Sister

I'm new here, but it seems like everybody has nothing but good will for you, Sister.

Can I tell you a story?

I was in a similar position when my son was first born. My wife was placed on bed rest for 2 months due to pregnancy complications, which cut our monthly income in half. I was forced to take a second job. I was an assistant manager at a crummy retail establishment, but it paid some of the bills. I took a job as a fry cook at minimum wage with the promise from the owner's son that I was going to be immediately trained for management of his new store that would open in mere months. Things looked up, so I quit my first job to pursue the apparent opportunity. One week later, my hours were cut: I found myself working part-time at minimum wage with a 1-month old newborn.
Things looked bad. My apartment management had a provision in the lease which permitted them to reclaim the apartment within 7 days of non-payment. When I found out that the new restaurant was not going to happen, I wondered if I had heard God wrong. Why had He led me out on a limb like that only to watch it snap off?
For 6 weeks straight, I received blessing after blessing and miracle after miracle. Friends brought over hot meals without being asked; I had money and checks arriving in the mail from people who lived out of the state; people offered to pay for my gas when we pulled up to the pump.
I estimated $1,500 in cash, which does not include the groceries, gas, and other gifts and services provided by people--again, without being asked or informed of our need.

God is faithful. Those who put their trust in Him will not be ashamed. And, no, at the time I was not 'tithing' at church; in fact, I was between churches at the time. But I was nevertheless utterly dependent upon my Father in Heaven. Sometimes, God simply calls us to put our money--or lack thereof--where our mouth is.

I will be sure to lift you and your family in prayer. :)

Wow Brother Green Berean.

That is a beautiful and uplifting testimony you have there. Our Father God is deffinitely alive and kicking and willing to roll up His sleaves and get a bit dirty in our messed up lives. If that isn't love, then what is :)

We love you Father God. Your Son Jesus is truely enough, more than enough, but You still reach out and do some more for us! Thank you!!!

We love YOU.

I understand what you are saying, but, I really do not believe that God is going to 'punish' or 'not bless' my children and myself because I have a boyfriend. We have been together for five years and have seen many blessings. I just get really tired of hearing about how I'm 'cursed' and God will not bless me because I have a boyfriend. I choose not to marry this individual because I will lose my medical insurance and benefits if I do. I'm a diabetic and have other health issues and that would just be really stupid.
