Please pray for me parents

Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Please pray for my parents:

I became a reborn child of God 5 months ago. I left a religion that does not believe in Jesus.
My parents are still stuck in the lie and they believe unto the core that it's the one true religion and to make it worse, it feels as though we do not speak the same language anymore, like we are from different planets.

Please pray that the Holy Spirit will open their eyes and ears to hear the whole truth, the truth of the Lord. That they will develop the urge to know more and by knowing more they will find that what they though was the truth, is actually crooked and tampered on by satan. Pray that their mind of understanding will come to life and meet the true Word of God in His fulness.

I'm not sure which button to press so that all of my brothers and sisters, knowing about my parents, will get this reply.

Things were really going well (that's what I thought) until they invited me and my husband to go away with them for 5 days.
5 days of hell - We became so angry inside with their blaspheming, swearing and drinking. We really felt uncomfortable, unwelcome and betrayed - for its our God, our loving Father Whom they are talking about. They do not know what they are doing.

We were so disappointed, angry and sad in our spirit, but with the power of the Holy Spirit, we could control it and only showed love. But the worse thing is. They completely stop showing love towards me as their child. Its terrible. I'm like a stranger to them - terrible.

I know what to do yes. I need to pray for them and keep loving them, but its really difficult and it hurts.

Please pray for my parents. Please pray that their ears and eyes will be opened to the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Pray that they will become hungry for the truth, it must be a hunger that nothing else can satisfy but the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will "double up" (if you can call it that) on working in them and that Jesus will brake through to them in all glory and plendor so that His Almighty Name can be glorified what He has done in their lives and still going to do.

Please pray so that my faith can be stronger for them. For what I have seen those 5 days really made me hesitate. Do please forgive me Jesus for doubting You for one second. Your ARE the GOD of impossible things, if you could change Nicky Cruze, my parents are a piece of cake to You. Thank you for not giving up on them, I love You. In Jesus Name I pray Amen

Feels sometimes as if its getting harder by the day. But I declare these words over them and every time someone asks me how are my parents doing. I reply: "They are pastors in the making, they just don't know it yet..."

You and your parents are in my prayers. Keep the faith sis, that nothing is too big for God to handle. Sinners can't intimidate His love and grace.
He will save them (no matter that they don't know it). I've got brothers that are like your parents and God is going to save them too. He never ceases to give us reasons to praise Him!!

I know it's hard to hear but patience is so important when praying for your parents. I am the only one saved in my family and to say I've felt like an outcast, is an understatement. I have 8 brothers and sisters, so that can overwhelming at times.
I will pray for your parents and that God will give you the patience to persevere.

How strange it is when you listen to the problems of others then yours seem so small.

Thank you for your inspiration. If you can make it, I can make it - and the good news is, we share the same Father. So, keep in mind, that you have a BIG family in the Lord - If I can say it that way This site really mean so much to me and I grew very close to some brothers and sisters on here.

And yes, it can get very hard, I can just imagine how hard it is for you. They all probably think you are crazy and brainwashed, that's what my parents think. If they can only tase was we taste, the goodness of the Lord is amazing, and yes, I will NEVER be the same, for nothing and no one will I ever be the same, for me and you are NEW creations in our Saviour King.

The Lord gave me concent to do distance from my parents and He gave me Isaiah 40:28-31. I believe strongly in my heart that by me doing distance, He gets a change to work with me and with them, for everytime we get together, me and my husband get banged up, either emotionally or spiritually. Everything MUST bring glory to God, and that is not bringing glory to His Name.

But we shall carry each other in our trails and tribulations and take it day by day, strength to strenght while we wait upon the Lord. He is our Rock, our Fortrace and our Strong Tower, we find refuge and rest under His wings. He says in Hebrew 10:30 that vengeance belongs to Him and He will recompense.
