Philemon 1-2 King James Version (KJV)
1 Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer,
2 And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:
Philemon 1-2 Good News Translation (GNT)
1 From Paul, a prisoner for the sake of Christ Jesus, and from our brother Timothy—
To our friend and fellow worker Philemon, 2 and the church that meets in your house, and our sister Apphia, and our fellow soldier Archippus:

1 Timothy wasn’t Paul’s actually brother but they had such a close fellowship with each other. Paul was a bond slave for Jesus but now he was a prisoner because of sharing Jesus. Paul had rights that allowed him to write letter as a Roman citizen while he was a prisoner. Paul helped Timothy to the faith and a close friendship/ mentorship started out of that. Philemon was helping not just Paul but Timothy and the work of the Lord because of him helping them.
2 Apphia was from Colossae and was a believer there and may have been closely related to Philemon. Archippus was a minister at Colossae. It may be likely that the church used Philemon’s house to meet.
