I was reading today of an incident in the life of 'Fanny J Crosby, that wonderful hymn-wright and lady, whom we grew up to love......and know...almost...... through her music.
Sightless, ....but aware one evening of people passing her seat as they responded to the call to follow Jesus. One brushed her arm going forward. Which prompted the hymn, and wonderful words, which sadly so many of today's generation will never experience.
"Pass me not O gentle Saviour, Hear my hunble cry........While on others Thou art calling, Do not pass me by......etc"
"Do not pass me by" A heart cry that all who have never met Jesus need to make.
