Just for interest. Something that I've discovered along my journey as a christian is that sometimes it's ok for other christians to hate you or write you off.
People are presented with all different types of christianity. Flavours, styles, blah blah blah and the only one who's really right is God. But once you join a christian movement, it can be very hard to challenge them without being rejected, if the challenge is a big one.
Jesus was rejected. Fairly often by the biblical accounts. Hated/loved and finally pretty much written off when he gave up his life on the cross. Not many people were there at his ascension.
So what?
So if God doesn't have the last word we arn't really following him.
I really like that.
Wish I'd known that all along. (But you only really can if you've been baptized in the Holy Spirit.) And even then it can take a while.
