Job 40 states that God spoke OUT OF THE STORM.

A week before the election at Halloween could God be reminding the USA & the world who is the real superpower? What God said is very, very interesting, but of course no one is listening are they?

&, as is always the case when God speaks, "some just hear the thunder."

Job 37:1-7

"At this also my heart trembles and leaps out of its place. 2 Keep listening to the thunder of his voice and the rumbling that comes from his mouth. 3 Under the whole heaven he lets it go, and his lightning to the corners of the earth. 4 After it his voice roars; he thunders with his majestic voice, and he does not restrain the lightnings when his voice is heard. 5 God thunders wondrously with his voice; he does great things that we cannot comprehend. 6 For to the snow he says, 'Fall on the earth,' likewise to the downpour, his mighty downpour. 7 He seals up the hand of every man, that all men whom he made may know it.

Elihu understood that God is more than what any man can comprehend.

"The LORD said to Job: "Shall a faultfinder contend with the Almighty?" (40:1-2)

We have an awesome God. The rain (and snow) fall on the just and the unjust alike. I pray for those who have placed their trust in Jesus to find safe haven from the extreme weather and peace. For those who have mocked the power of God, I pray the winds will sweep them off their feet and to their knees.

God will speak to us whether through storm, or quietness of heart, if we but listen. He is always speaking, its up us to listen, and when He speaks from a storm, its because we dont listen to the still small voice. God is speaking to each one of us even now. Will we hear His voice when our name is called? Will we respond with action to His request of us, or shall we faint away? I pray we will all be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit as we carry the day.
