Rapture or Christs Return

Are we talking about the Rapture here? Or the second coming?

I ask because I see verses that have to do with one applied to the other. and vicey vercy

As to the Rapture 2 Thes says "<sup class="versenum" id="en-KJV-29668">6</sup>And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. <sup class="versenum" id="en-KJV-29669">7</sup>For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
<sup class="versenum" id="en-KJV-29670">8</sup>And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:".....


None of the things of judgement will occur until the church is taken out of the Earth.


Once we are out of the way Satan and crew will be allowed to run wild. We will not be here to stop him.

Hi Brother Mike, you made some interesting comments, but I am struggling to understand the logical development of your argument.

I stated: "It is vital we identify the man of lawlessness!" Then you wrote: "Would be great if we could, but the Church won't be here when He is revealed." You seam to indicate that the emergence of the man of lawlessness is in the future, if that is correct, why did John write in 1 John 2:18, (NIV): "even now many Antichrists have come." So this phrase 'Antichrist' does not just refer to the time of the end. John clearly indicates that they existed during the 1st century, not some future point in time, or can you point me to a specific scripture that shows otherwise. (Not just a general Book of the Bible)

Additionally, you also wrote the: "Antichrist are not people as you stated because we don't wrestle against flesh and blood. It's spirits that set up things to get the anointing off your life." If then you are stating that the Antichrist are Demon spirits that attach Christians, why does John say they come out of the spirit anointed Christian congregation. 1 John 2:19, (NIV): "They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us." Bible scholars agree John is referring to people who left the faith in the 1st century as a result of not believing that Christ had risen. However, I would appreciate it if you could direct me to a specific scripture that says the Antichrist will be Demon spirits, but why would they be aloud into the presence of the 1st century congregation?
