Does anyone have an opinion on the Charles Price Ministry?

His sermons seem to be biblical and edifying. I've searched these forums and found a couple quotes of his but very little else. During his sermons he seems to flash the same hand signal that rock&rollers do but that could be just an innocent mannerism.

Thanks for any insight and guidance.

Is he Pentecostal?

After some googling "The Peoples Church in Toronto" where Charles Price was pastor is non-denominational. Also found that Charles Price was on TV in Canada in those days. Being on TV is a sign of mainstream acceptance and brings to mind JN 15:18.

I'm open to suggestions for sound online biblical resources.

May Jesus fill us with his love and wisdom

Do not judge people based on the church they belong to or the fact that they're on TV. You should judge them because of what they preach. Even the devil can preach scripture but there's always a twist when it comes to the devil.

So make certain that you hear him correctly and listen to what he says and how he presents it.

I remember Jimmy Swaggart, how he was a TV preacher for so long and he was good in the beginning and then he fell. And I remember how he went through his repentance, and now he is a man of God.

Now I can tell you that he's a man of God, and I'm a Catholic. But that title doesn't make it that I cannot see God working through a person. The Holy Spirit speaks to those who have the Holy Spirit. I'm not blind, and I do hear the Holy Spirit speak to me. And I can see those who have the spirit and those who do not whether they claim to have it or not. And I can tell you that Jimmy Swaggart walks in the Lord.

We all have things we are grateful that Jesus paid for and are cleaned from our personal record. The bigger the sins, the stronger the love for Christ. LK 7:42

I do not know if you heard, but Jimmy Swaggart passed away, July 1rst 2025

With the internet we can still learn from teachers that have passed away. I learned a great deal from J. Vernon McGee's "Thru the Bible" radio program and he passed in 1988.

I still wish to find a pastor that teaches biblical guidance to current world events.
