Boasters
I will mention in this post, 2 kinds of boasters, and if it gets someone angry, then so be it.
The Jewish boaster
Rom 2:17
(17) Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,
Joh 8:33
(33) They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
Here Jews were resting in the law, and making their boast about keeping the law to God.
There hearts were in the wrong place, their faith was in the wrong thing, their boasting was not of God.
And even lineage wise some Jews were making their boast, of look at me I am of Abraham’s seed, I am never in bondage to any man, which was wrong to do, and some thought that they were automatically saved because of belonging to a lineage, which that is false.
So to them who are Jews, guard your hearts concerning these things, but firstly turn your hearts to Christ, if you have not received him, and receive his salvation today.
But now let us get to Gentile boasters.
The Gentile boaster
Rom 11:18-20
(18) Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
(19) Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
(20) Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
Rom 11:22-23
(22) Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
(23) And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.

(Romans 11:18
Boast not ... - The tendency of people is to triumph over one that is fallen and rejected. The danger of pride and boasting on account of privileges is not less in the church than elsewhere. Paul saw that some of the Gentiles might be in danger of exultation over the fallen Jews, and therefore cautions them against it. The ingrafted shoot, deriving all its vigor and fruitfulness from the stock of another tree, ought not to boast against the branches….)

(the Church has not replaced Israel in the Plan of God, even though the Church is included in the Plan of God due to Israel’s rejection of Christ)
In this boasting, it is Gentiles boasting themselves above Jews, look at us, we are in Christ, but you guys were rejected, they were making themselves superior to the Jews, and some may have though maybe that God was finished with the Jews.
But God said he is able to graft them in again.
It says because of their unbelief they were broken off, be not high-minded, do not boast against them, you are no better than them.
And I say to Gentile believers, be not highminded, guard your hearts, God still has a plan for the Jews, and you are no better than them, appreciate the things that God has done, and that God has given.

Well God is good, and his mercies endure forever, I guess no matter what the word of God shows, whether in a figurative form , or literal form, people will make the word say what they want, it is very sad to see, but it requires no spiritual discernment to interpret God's word that way, none of the present, and future tense things should be ignored, none of the physical, and spiritual things should be ignored, none of the physical things should be swipe for spiritual and vice versa, but when someone wants to believe something strongly, there is no stopping them, unless the Holy Spirit reaches them, and if they allow for that to happen.

Romans via chapter 11
And of course God always saves a remnant, which Romans 11, does speak of a remnant, and also it is important to see what else this chapter speaks of.
Rom 11:15
(15) For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
Rom 11:12
(12) Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
Rom 11:25-27
(25) For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
(26) And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
(27) For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
It talks about the fulness of the Jews verse 12, and the fulness of the Gentiles verse 25.
And these are speaking of the fulness of ethnic Gentiles, and ethnic Jews coming into the spiritual fold, when the fulness of the Gentiles take place, that is when the fulness of the Jews take place, which is when ungodliness is removed from Jacob, this is not talking about spiritual Israel coming to Christ, for they are already in Christ.
When it says all Israel shall be saved, it is talking about physical Israel getting saved, and having their ungodliness taken away, for spiritual Israel, or the church, is already in a saved state.
And the Jews and Gentiles that survive the tribulation period, that have not received Christ, shall get saved at about the time of the second coming, this will be their fulness, and that is when ungodliness gets removed from Jacob.
