John 8:21-24 (KJV) Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.
Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.
And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Greetings sister,

Jesus is God, God the Son, He was with God in the beginning.

John 1:1-5 (NKJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Jesus came from Heaven, the promises Messiah, he is not part of the world, His Kingdom is in Heaven.

John 8:23-24 (NKJV)
23 And He said to them, "You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.
24 Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."

John 18:36 (NKJV)
36 Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here."

When we are born, we are born into the world, the world of sin. As we know the world loves it's own, but once saved we no longer belong to, sin the world and the devil, we belong to God. We are not of this world, we belong to The Kingdom of God, we have been accepted into His family, adopted as God's children. Saved.

John 15:19 (NKJV)
19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, [SAVED] but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

It is interesting to note, God created the heaven(s) and the earth. The planet is also referred to as earth.

'The world' are the people on the planet earth. These fall into two groups, those who belong to 'sin, the world and the devil', and those who belong to God, saved souls. Many people think of the earth as the world, the earth is the planet, the world are the unsaved souls, the saved souls who came to Christ repented of their sins and had then washed away, to be remembered no more, no longer being to the world, we belong to God the Father, through Jesus Christ our Lord. We are on earth, we are wheat amongst the weeds, we are saved so we may help others be saved, we are blessed so that we may share the blessing with others, everything we are given by God is to bring Him Glory.

Bless you.

1Peter 2:11 Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against you're soul. If we are aliens and strangers in this world, what world do we belong to, if not the kingdom of heaven? blessings

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name, thy Kingdom come, Thine will be done, on earth as it is in heaven...

How can this be?

God is Holy, we are to Hallow His Name, everything in heaven is Holy, yet thine 'Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven! What on this sinful wicked world? Yes.

This is what happens when we are born again, thy Kingdom of God comes to us, once we have truly repented and accepted Jesus as our personal saviour, we are free from all past sins, they are washed away remembered no more, the Holy Spirit abides in our heart. Thy Kingdom come, to this sinful world, thine will be done... through the heart of every born again believer. We no longer belong to sin, the world and the devil, oh no, we belong to God, we are as Trevor quotes, aliens to this world, we are members, we are co-heirs in the Kingdom of God, we have our 'first taste of heaven' in our new life in Christ. But it is nothing to what is to come, it is just a taste, God has so much more planned for us, for all eternity.

For thine Father is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory, for ever and ever, we Glorify thy Holy Name Father, in Jesus Name. Amen

How wonderful is that sister?

the people of this world are born of this world and nothing more, they are creatures of this world! We are something special and completely different, We are 1st, born of this world [earthly]. Then we are 2nd , "born from above" [born of God]. now we are completely different from those who has only had a earthly birth. We are in no way like the people of this world. It is not what we believe in makes us different, it is "who we are"! "a different creature"! and "Jesus went away to prepare a whole new place for us to be", GOD shall create a "New heaven" and a "new earth"! For those words are "Anthropomorphic words"! "HEAVEN AND EARTH" for there are no earthly words to describe the place HE is preparing for us to be and there are no earthly thoughts that can imagine, or perceived, or comprehend or contain our dwelling in which we are to be! We will live in "eternity" and a finite mind cannot comprehend eternity for there is no time there!

All which you can see and hear and feel and also think or taste is "temporal" and also what you can imagine will pass away and be no more! "Behold all things will become new!" Even the things you thought about GOD, because He is so GREAT way beyond, our wildest dreams into pure Holiness!

No one can understand this truth but only those "who has had a Heavenly birth' [born from above]". and i don't mean a person who says i have been 'born again', meaning i got a new out look on life since i almost died! Or i have turn over a new leaf. and now i think different and i going to give my life over to Jesus!
I'm' speaking of a "NEW CREATURE" birth! A real New Birth! That the world cannot comprehend! Neither can anyone can dream of such a place, this place is beyond a human's dream! Your dreamy dreams cannot touch such a place! So don't even try it, and be found a liar.

I quess it might be a pin note, so many people have dreams of heaven in which are not bad, but they go to far in expressing themselves as if they are viewing or seeing biblical truth. But their dreams are encouragement truth that maybe God has given Them, for encouragement in a language they can understand, but not to pass off as biblical truth.

What does it mean for the Holy Spirit to abide in our hearts?

It means you have repented of all your sins, you have asked Jesus into your heart, you have chosen from then on to take up your cross and follow Jesus daily, you have accepted Jesus as your saviour. You have opened the door of your heart fully to Jesus, the door He was knocking on for some time.

It means you are born again, the Holy Spirit cannot enter your heart unless you come to Jesus, come to the cross and allow your old self to be crucified, so the new self, the new creation can go forward, practicing righteousness, worshipping God, Praising Jesus.

Bit this is just the start, the Spirit enters our heart, we no longer belong to sin, the world and the devil, we are set free, free indeed.

God puts His spirit in your heart, he has basically connected you to Himself through Jesus, connected you into righteousness, you now have direct access to God through Jesus. The spirit of the Lord abides in your heart, but he wants you to abide in Him also through Jesus, read John 15, it is a wonderful passage, remember we are nothing without Jesus, He is our life given sap.

John 15:1-17 (NKJV)
1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
4 Abide in Me, and I in you.
As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
9 "As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.
10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.
11 These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.
14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.
16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
17 These things I command you, that you love one another.

The Vine
The root, also called the lump, is Holy.
Jesus is the vine, the Holy sap runs through Him.
We are the branches, the first branches were the Jews, but as we know Jesus opened the door to us Gentiles also, to the whole world. We are the branches, we reply on Jesus the vine, without Him we are nothing. We are the branches, fed by the 'life giving' sap from the vine, but not for ourselves, the Blessing runs through us, we are to bear fruit, we are expected to bear much fruit.

If we don't bear fruit, we will be cut off from the Blessings.

v10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love,
just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.

The Holy Spirit abides in us, not for our benefit but that by us abiding in Jesus God will be Glorified.

The sap in the vine is the Holy Spirit, from God, through Jesus, to the branches SO THAT they will bear much fruit, bring Glory to God. If the Holy Spirit is not abiding in a persons heart they are Not born again.

What is a personal saviour?
Greeting sister

Now this is very interesting, we will not find anywhere in our Bible the words that Jesus is our 'personal saviour.'
Jesus is the anointed one, the Holy one, He I the only begotten son of God, He is the King of Kings.

But Jesus is our personal saviour.

He died the most terrible death ever invented, not for himself but for us. He died on the cross, he shed His blood for our sins, so that through Him we can be forgiven and come to God through Him. Blood always has to be shed for forgiveness of sin, in the OT they would sacrifice a lamb, one a year, but it was a temporary arrangement. Jesus died, once for all, taking upon himself 'the sins of the whole world'. He paid the price we should pay, He paid it for us, that is a personal sacrifice, a massive price to pay, yet he paid it in full, for us. He is our saviour, He saved us from our sins, it doesn't get any more personal than that.

We put our personal trust in Him, that is what makes Him our personal saviour.

Bless you
