"Behold, I [am] with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you." Genesis 28:15 NKJV

An analyst collects data and observes things like truth and trends, input and discovery. It may not be something everyone does, but God gave thousands of applications for life that any person who considers them would have a hard time refuting.

Jacob was a young man seeking to find his own path after leaving his parents, Isaac and Rebekah. He’d lived with whatever faith his parents possessed, but he had some analyzing to do. God wanted Jacob to learn—and grow. Jacob took in the words of God when He essentially said, “I’m with you now, and I’ll be with you and watch out for you every step of life’s journey. You won’t always be a wanderer. There’s work to do, and I’m not going anywhere.”

This promise to Jacob runs parallel to other passages that tell you something similar. Let the importance of this information bathe your soul, inform you mind, and impact your heart. He’s God, He loves you, and He’s not going anywhere.

Prayer: Lord, I need Your assurance that there’s something better ahead. I’ve tried so many things on my own, and they often turn from bad to worse. Thanks for not going anywhere.
