Northen Romanian Gypsys.

My friends have returned broken hearted; from the North of the country, saying the Pastor has no money & his car has broken down & he him self has little to give. My friends are Roy & Dorothy
We are part of the local Church here which is part of a large world wide ministry. The church wont give financial backing to those who ''Go'' outside of the larger covering of churches. This is understandable & we know the main aid for them & the gypsies is Prayer. The Christian group over there is small but in the throes of have a house made of brick; & not the usual mud & straw, to use as a meeting place. Now their only water supply has been sealed off to them. The school wont integrate them because the children are filthy & unhygienic because of the lack of water. They can't wash them selves or their clothes.
Please pray

For the work of God to be very evident to the Gypsies & particularly to their local authorities, who marginalise the Gypsies, at every possible occasion.
For the health of friends who endeavor to help out there. (Ear problems)
For finances to be released, to ease the poverty of the Gypsies & that of the Pastor.
Free up a meeting place.
Release people to become involved.
Thank you God & for prayers.

Understandable??? I sure do not understand it myself!! Let us say I was a pastor of a Church,and you and your wife had to for whatever reason move to another town, far away from the so called main Body. Now let us say, that while in that other town God calls you to minister to homeless there etc... But you need money,or whatever,and I could help,but because you broke off from the main Body I cannot help you???

Does this make any sense to you?? James 2:14-17!!! It does not say anything about a main body of anything,we all are from the MAIN BODY!! The very Body of Christ!!! So!! I sure will be praying for them!! But I must tell you,I am most upset with the so called main body!!Who are they, to determine judgment for those wonderful people!! I will pray some fire down on that Church to wake them from there sleep as well!! rom 13:11 That MAIN BODY as it were is really missing out on a blessing,yes,and so are the people that represent Jesus as his ambassadors!! 2 Cor 5:20!! Blessing to you!!

I feel for these people with a deep compassion. 12 years ago I was involved in a church where it was a part of 'outreach' to minister to and help these folks as much as possible. In that town they had ther own area of land and were happy. They responded to us and attended the 'fellowship' often.

Bro Brighthouse makes valid points with which I agree.

I too will pray for this situation as a matter of great concern.
