Revelation 21:1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. 24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. 25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. 26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. 27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
This chapter following the prior chapter of the judgment on Satan, and his fallen angels, death & hell, and all those that are not written in the Book of Life that are cast into the lake of fire which is the second death.
Since there will be some that will be tempted by the devil to side with him after his release from the pit for a thousand years, this cannot apply to any one before the Great White Throne Judgment in Revelation 20:1-15 , but only afterwards. Those generations being raised up in that 1000 year reign of Christ on earth that remain loyal to Christ, shall have their names written in the Book of Life.
Those left behind saints and former believers that shall be resurrected after the great tribulation as vessels unto dishonor, vessels of wood & earth, only the power of the second death will not be over them; meaning, their names are written in the Book of Life, but the generations coming from them are not written in the Book of Life.... yet. Those resurrected and the generations coming from them, has the power of the first death still over them until death is cast into the lake of fire where then, no one can die.
But there would be still necessity for the millennium generations to visit the City of God to eat from the tree of life for the healing of the nations.
Revelation 22:1And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
Only those partakers of the first fruits of the resurrection at the rapture event when He comes as the Bridegroom for the abiding bride of Christ before the great tribulation will be like the angels that never die and never marry.
Luke 20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: 35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
These be the ones that live in the City of God with God as vessels unto honor in His House whereas those resurrected after the great tribulation as vessels unto dishonor in His House can only represent the City of God & Jesus Christ from all over the world in raising up the generations following them.
Scripture prophesy of those being born in that City of God, but not really testifying to them living in that City of God. More than likely, those who visit the City of God may give birth at that time.
Psalm 87:1His foundation is in the holy mountains. 2 The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. 3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah. 4 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there.
5 And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her. 6 The Lord shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.
7 As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.
Anyway, in New Jerusalem that comes down from Heaven, there will be no temple therein because the Lord God Almighty & the Lamb are the temple of it.
