"Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33 NLT
Are you ever tempted to keep your faith a private matter? There are work environments where sharing your faith is frowned upon, but there are other hours in the day when you can speak about Jesus. Even during work hours, you can still let your relationship with Jesus show up in your work ethic and decision-making.
Think about it this way: Jesus never once turned His back on His followers, even when they ran away or betrayed Him. When you make the choice to journey with Jesus, you should be willing and able to acknowledge who you serve—hesitancy is not required. Being vague isn’t helpful. Denying you know Him will mean a change in thinking.
Because Jesus rescued you, changed your mind, revived your soul, and lives in your heart, there is no reasonable excuse not to say something about it. If you’ve been changed, then give credit where it’s due.
Prayer: Jesus, You have done the most amazing thing for me and in me. May I never act like the life I now have isn’t worth a God cheer. I didn’t get here on my own, and I want Your help. I don’t want to make it seem like You’re no big deal.
