Hello there!
I wrote this awhile back and wanted to share...
HOME
There’s a place called home,
While you and I roam,
It’s a great big wait and see…
There’s a man called God,
‘cause God was a man,
Who died for you and for me…
He sits and He waits’
‘hind Heaven’s gates,
As He waits for His Father to say…
“Now is the time,
Today is the day,
To gather them all away”…
He doesn’t know when,
As He watches and waits,
So patiently soon to see…
Each day, more and more,
As God does His chore,
To add to His family tree…
His Spirit does roam,
From home into home,
Searching out hearts to dwell…
Full of belief,
In the One true relief,
Out of the gates of Hell…
And we are to help,
As small as we are,
To honor the Father’s choice…
To honor His Son,
And honor we will,
As we follow our Father’s voice…
While you and I roam,
There’s a place called home,
Where soon we all shall be…
The Father, the Son,
The Three in One,
Yet not without you and me.
