New member asks for your prayers

My name is Jeff and I am 29. I was saved when I was 16 years old. I try to live the best I can but recently I have been having a terrible time resisiting sexual temptations. I'm finding it very difficult to get a grip on this problem. I ask that my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ would please pray for me. Particularly that I will be able to resisit these temptations and that I will listen to the Holy Spirit when he is tugging at my heart letting me know that I shouldn't be doing these things.

There is a way out, bro!

I Cor 10:31 "No temptation has befallen you that is not common to man. But God is faithful and He will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

So watch for that way out! Sometimes the only way is to RUN! The other way is to keep your nose stuck in the Bible and learn more about Him. It's the only way I've been able escape. And for some of us, if we don't continue to feed on the Word . . . if we grow lax . . . we face temptations more often.
