new here in Australia

I am new here hence my writing in the newbie section lol. About me, I am a 27 yr old guy from Australia, Qld to be exact. I am what you would call a "newish" christian...so much so that I am not baptized yet, but I am looking to find out more about Christ. I suppose its through the hardships that I had suffered in my life that has brought me to where I am today, I am just starting to accept God into my life, I know it is early days, but I am here to make new christian friends from all over the world, I have never married and dont have any children. I have just joined with the Christian Compassionate Church, based in Ipswich Australia, A friend of mine who is a christian, invited me to go there. I am not sure what else to say really, My Hope Is that I find a christian woman to share my beliefs and views with, As I said I am a newbie christian, so to speak, and from speaking with our minister and to God I can tell that this is the best way for me to go.
Anything else you want to know, just ask

I have found this site to be filled with strong believers, and it's okay to seek Jesus and even seek answers to questions that you have regarding Christ and the Bible. Many people here are knowledgeable!

Hi, and thanks for the kind words everybody, It is refreshing to know that here and also at the church I am going to, that everyone gets treated with respect, its the way it should be, As said obviously not everyone is going to agree with other peoples opinions at times, but the best thing to do, as you said, is to talk it over.
