Thinking about doing a refresh design for Talk Jesus community here, possibly using a different software platform as well to replace the current. It'll still remain a "forum" software nonetheless.

What do you think of the following design?

Avalanche
Avalanche Theme - Index page

Let me know your thoughts.

Avalanche looks lovely. I like the current design too. It's clean and clear and doesn't get in the way of the business of being a forum.

Depends on the type of "skin" we're talking about.
Seems there are 3 that are shown "Default", "Dark", and "Grey". I couldn't tell if there is a variety (shadings) within them, so that the one called "Grey" could be darkened, or "Dark" lightened.
Especially since the "previews" all used the "Default" skin, which is really a no go. Just plain or white to my eyes.
Otherwise I like it!
Thanks for the work you've done on this Brother! Never an easy task!

Blessings & Love to you and yours.
With the Love of Christ Jesus.

Greetings brother @Chad

Avalanche looks clean and clear in its default and grey format
Im not too keen on the dark format

As mentioned in the previous post, the current design works well and is great to use.

Not sure whether any of these thoughts are useful brother

Honestly, while I agree that the gray (or a darkened version of it) looks nice (or theoretically nice), I am a creature of habit, and laziness is occasionally permitted to give me an aversion to change.

However, If you did change the theme, that would not stop me from coming to and using the forums unless it was modified to the point that I didn't know how it worked (which, according to the templates, doesn't like like that would be the case).

Hope this helps,
Nai

On many forums I see that the provision of for adding graphics are poor such as the present one. The url method is not the best since many such graphics storage sites, photobucket etc, do not allow your material to be posted to other sites.

I create Christian memes using photographs and my own art. A couple of sites I frequent uses a scheme that allows posting of graphics directly from your phone or pc. I do not know ow the name of the software. I was going to take a screen shot of one but forgot I could not post it haha..
