Hi everyone,
I am asking prayer for my neighbor Alberta. Her brother was recently diagnosed with Leukemia and
he is also deaf and having a hard time understanding how serious his medical condition is. Alberta
also has had memories of her late husband and his fight with cancer come back up since finding out
her brother's prognosis. Her husband lost his battle with cancer some time ago but when she talked
to me the other day about it, it seemed to me what she went through was opened up again like a scab
that has been picked and out came all the pain, helplessness and sadness. She has been through a lot
lately. She had gallbladder trouble that ended in surgery and Praise God she is doing good with that
now and then after that had foot trouble and found out they couldn't do surgery to get rid of the bone
spur because they would have to cut into tendons and said they couldn't guarantee her she wouldn't
end up in a wheelchair and now this with her brother and she is taking care of him the best she can
and also trying to manage working and things. She is in her late 80s and I can tell all of this has taken
a toll on her.
Please keep her and her brother and family in your prayers brothers and sisters.
God bless you all.
