need prayers please?

I would like to ask for prayers for me, but first i want to ask for prayers be said for the state i live in. On good Friday storms raged through our area and in murphesboro a f-4 tornado touched down and destroyed several homes, and a lady and a 9 week old baby were killed. tornadoes also touched down in Arkansas and i think Alabama and Georgia also. please pray for those effected by this. Also need to request prayers for our minister. I will just put his intitles here to protect his identity. our minister A. W. was on his job in Murphesboro when the tornado hit. he was banged up but is okay for right now. He has bursites in his knee where a board had hit him from the tornado. please ask for prayers for him that he will not be in much pain.

now at last i ask for you to say prayers for me. Today i had to go to the ER. I have had for the past 2 weeks a bad ear ache that would not go away. I cant get in to see my regular doctor until friday and my regular doc told me if i ever was hurting really badly to go to the ER and that is what i did. The doc on duty said that i have a very bad infection in my right ear and that it does not in any way look like a normal infection. he said i had a tumor or possiably a blood clod in my ear. all i know is it is very hard pain that goes on up to my right eye and just under my right cheek, it is like something bursting inside my ear or sort of popping, i can still hear out of it but the pain is hard to endure. sometimes it will strike like a sharp pain as if someone sticking a needle in my ear. I am asking that you ask the Lord to allow ease of my pain if it be his will?

Also i need to ask if you would kindly ask the Lord to help me be able to suffer this until friday when i see my regular doc. i dont have insurance and break even on doing surveys online. the ER doc gave me a prescription for an antibiodit and said he was going to go ahead and treat this as a regular ear infection until my doc gets me to see a ear cancer speaclist but i cant get the prescription filled for lack of money. so i am asking God to allow me to endure this until friday. my reg. doc is at the health department and that is where i go to get my meds for my asthma, and heart, i get my meds there free. so please ask God to allow me strength to endure this pain for 5 more days until i can get pain meds, or at least some kind of relief if it be to his will? the pain really hurts and wakes me up all through the night.

i guess i need to up the prayer request some. the reason is i got a call from the local heath department where i go to get refills on my meds, well they called today and said that the nurse will not be in friday and that they had to reschedual my appointment until May 5, this is a major no no for me.. i take beta blockers and any doctor will tell you that one can not just suddenly stop those beta blockers, well i run out of my pills this friday, that is why it was important for me to see them this friday. i also take a heart pill because my heart beats way too fast and the pill i take keeps my heart beating slower so that i will not have another heart attack. i also run out of this friday. i had called and asked them if they could give me enough to last until may 5 but the lady told me that i have to see the doc before i can get the meds. not having insurance that is the only place i can get my meds at, so i guess i am basically in bad shape.. diffently need the prayers stepped up...

also i have had polyps at my young age in my colon that have been removed and i am required to have this done every year. I am supposed to get a C-Scope every year and the Dr, his name is Dr Doug Smith does this procedure and removes the polyps every year. these polyps are pre cursers to cancer. well i do not have tenn-care or any insurance and Dr Doug ( Ambulatory care center in whartburg tennessee )had set me up last year when i first got cut off the tenn-care ( state of Tennessee cut a lot of needy people off their tenn-care and said they did not have enough money in their system, and i personally know of several people who got cut off that has sugar and heart disease that died after getting cut off ) and he had set me up on payments, i took in $100 and he had set me up on $50 per month payments. i was never able to pay the $500. i paid $100 but not the remaining $400. the c-scope cost around $500 or thats what it was last year, have no idea what it will be this time, but the sparta heath department does not do the C-scope procedure, so without me getting that done i will end up with cancer once again in my body and no way to fight it. This is a life saving procedure for me but right now i am physically and financially stuck and i need prayers for this a lot... i do surveys online but it just bearly pays the bills and i have tried to better myself and get a regular job but no one wants to hire me either because of my health or because the economy so i am stuck in a bad place right now.. i know all things are possiable with God and i am trying not to lose my faith but its hard when things keep pushing me back down..if you know what i mean?

i do not want to die at age 36 i really do not want to die... i know the polyps are there cause they grow back every year and thats why i have to have this done every year.. i wish the state of tennessee would get the health care straightened up or at least allow the health department to do these types of procedures so i can at least try to live longer.

lordy.. i know that is a mouthful but i really need prayers badly.. i know with God nothing is imposiable so i ask for prayers that either i can get this procedure done in the health department, that i can get the meds i need before i run out, that someone willcancel and i can get in to see the doc to get the meds or that i can at least get the money to get my life saving procedure done.. my health can all be verified by Dr doug from whartburg/jamestown tennessee and Dr johnson from the health department..

Alabama did get hit by 1 or more tornadoes infact 1 chased my dad home from his work in Rainsville.

We live about 45min. from Chattanooga,TN & thankfully & prayerfully it didn't hit us or our home.

Ideas:

Potassium can help irregular heart beat, thus eat potatoes & bananas.

Can you get on Medicaid?
It sounds like you'd qualify & all you have to pay for doctors or meds is $3 or less + it covers most proceedures.

Please pm me if you need more info on above 2 ideas.

Prayers were answered. well some of them were. i got my meds today!

I had called the health department again prepared to beg them if needed to let me have the meds i need before i run out on friday. when the lady picked up the phone i told her i really needed my meds and she told me to come on down which i did and they worked me in to see the nurse on duty. Same nurse that had canceled my appoinment for friday.. anyhow i got in to see her and got a re-fill on my meds, my beta blockers and heart meds and even my asthma meds also.

now the bad news...

the nurse looked at my ear and said that she now understands what Dr Gentry ( ER Doctor ) was talking about. I also had taken in the paper that the ER had given me that day. it is a big mass on the inside of my right ear. it is also swelled up really badly. She is not a doctor and only a nurse but she wants me to call and make an appointment with Dr johnson the first part of may so he can do some tests to see what this is. it does not look normal and will need a possiable biopsy done to see what it is. Also she advised me to talk to Dr Johnson about getting my c-scope done ASAP. I do not have insurance, they do not do this procedure there at the health department, and my credit with Dr Doug Smith is shot cause i still owe him money for a few things that i had done at the care center there so how i am going to get this done is beyond me.. I did ask her about the polyps they took off me and she did say yes they are pre cursers to cancer and that i do indeed need this done but how i have no idea.

Thank you also rlowe for your prayers as well and the advice on eating more potatoes, bananas and strawberries etc.. Medicaid was what the state of Tennessee had at one time but it was changed i think to this new system called Tenn-care. this system is totally messed up and there have been many people gotten cut off that really need this. they in my opinion made a huge mistake when they did away with medicaid and put in tenn-care system.. i go to the health department in Sparta and my co-pay is like $5 dollars each visit but it is state funded and they do not do the c-scope procedures at all because it is done by a highly skilled surgeon which Dr Doug Smith from whartburg is and my credit with him is messed up cause i still owe him, never could get the money to pay him.. Each year i have to have this done. this is a must thing if i want to live longer. every year the number of polyps inside my colon increase, last year it increased by 2.. so i really need this done.. so i really need prayers for this.. i am just hoping that Dr Johnson ( thats the health department doctor ) when i see him the first of may will tell me that the health department has some funds for me to get this done, otherwise i dont know what else to do... except pray and not try to worry all that much about it.. i know thats hard to do but i got to at least try..

lady called me again today from the ambulatory care center out there in whartburg tennessee and left a message for me to call her back but i was at the health department.. I am going to call her tomorrow and find out what exactly it will cost this year? what i have to pay up front? rather i can pay some of it or have to pay all of it upfront, and just tell her i am having it rough. and just pray about it.. thats all one can do...

cant really worry about that right now, i now got this thing in my ear to worry about...

1 additional thing 3 OTC ibuprophen can safely be taken every 6hrs to help reduce influmation in your ear.

I pray this is just the tip of the iceburg of miracles coming your way.

UPDATE!!!

Talked with Carmen and i did get in to have the C-Scope. Only thing i have to have that day is once again the $100 up front. They know that this has to be done cause i am so young ( 36 ) and have had these cancer polyps every year and for the past 2 years they have incresed some.

I go into the procedure May 15, 2009 at 9 am ( 10 am there time, they are 1 hour ahead of us ) so i want to thank all who prayed for me and ask you to keep me in your prayers for this as well. perhaps pray that by some miracle there will not be any polyps found, or that they will get to remove all that are in me if it be to Gods will.

i recon they know my situation and just how important it is for me to have this done every year but anyhow wanted to give you all a quick update!

still have no idea about my ear and the thing/lump/whatever that is in my ear. wont know until i go back to see Dr johnson and he gets to look at it.

i have several surveys to do tonight and might not get the chance to log back in here tonight but if anyone ( my friends here ) would like the number to where i will be having this done at and wish to check on how i made it through the surgery just pm me and i will give you the number..
