It is an odd thing living in this world
Everyone living without a care
Thinking they are safe and without danger
Not wanting to face the conviction of their sin
Though even if they were faced it they would not turn away
But rather stay in the filthiness of their sinful desires
I was one of them but as the prodigal son returned to his father after living with the pigs
You have embraced me and made me your own
And I thank you my most merciful father that through
Your holy son we may be forgiven of our sins
For I have sinned against you
I thank you for the grace you have blessed me with
As a sinner I deserve nothing
But you have given me more than would ever need
I deserve death and you have offered eternal life
Everyone living without a care
Thinking they are safe and without danger
Not wanting to face the conviction of their sin
Though even if they were faced it they would not turn away
But rather stay in the filthiness of their sinful desires
I was one of them but as the prodigal son returned to his father after living with the pigs
You have embraced me and made me your own
And I thank you my most merciful father that through
Your holy son we may be forgiven of our sins
For I have sinned against you
I thank you for the grace you have blessed me with
As a sinner I deserve nothing
But you have given me more than would ever need
I deserve death and you have offered eternal life
