My Dog

Please pray for my dog, Samson. He is about 15 years old, but he is still in good condition. He runs and plays like he's one year old. The thing I'm concerned about is that I found a raised place right below his eye. My mom thinks it might be cancer. Please pray that it's not cancer and if it is, pray the Lord will take care of it. Sam has lived a good life and it might be his time to go, but I would like to keep him as long as possible. I love him dearly.

Reading your post brought back memories of my boyhood years living at home with my parents, and we had a dog at one time, who was my best friend. For some reason its hair began to fall out, particularly around the face. My father prayed for it one night, and the next morning........yes you are correct, it had a lovely coat of hair.

I recall going for a walk with my dad and the dog. My dad was carrying a pair of boots. We reached and were walking along what at that time was the main road, between the towns. A figure approached coming in the opposote direction, and drawing near it turned out to be a tramp, a vagrant, who was walking on the cardboard in his shoes because the leather had worn out. "The Lord has sent thee a pair of boots" my father said. Mmm Wish I had such revelation.

But I digress......Lord remember Cody and his dog I ask of you.

How's he doing now? Did you get the spot checked out?

No, my mom said she's going to wait a little bit longer and if hasn't grown any, it's not cancer. So far it hasn't grown any at all.

Keep praying for him though. This cold weather is hard on these old dogs. Today my windshield wipers were frozen to the window and my door was frozen shut.
