Answers to Music In The Bible

1) The answer is the harp. 1st Samuel 16:23- And so it was, whenever the spirit from God was upon Saul, that David would take a harp and play it with his hand. Then Saul would become refreshed and well, and the distressing spirit would depart from him.

2) The answer is 7. 1st Chronicles 15:24- Sheebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests were to blow the trumpets before the ark of God; and Obed-Edom and Jehiah, doorkeepers for the ark.

3) The answer is all of the above. 1st Chronicles 15:28- Thus all of Israel brought up the ark fo the covenant of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of the horn, with trumpets and with cymbals, making music with stringed instruments and harps.
