Hopefully I do know QUITE A LOT about CRISPR - Cas9 from a scientific standpoint.
Yes, it can remove genes from your DNA, most of the time temporarily, unless you're a fetus.
Yes, it can be delivered through MAAAANY ways, including AAVs (bioengineered viruses that are not killing the host or do anything evil, just edit the target gene).
Yes, it is a concern for many many people, and can be used in nefarious ways. Even bioweapons.
But is truly a tool for crowd control? Too expensive, most of the herds are kept quiet by other means
