Make someone else sin

Hello all. I've been googling this to no avail.

There is a verse in the bible that says something along the lines of "The person who makes someone else fall into sin is just as bad as the person who does the sin"

Anyone know what verse it is? Thanks!!!!

Mark 9.42

42 “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.

42And whoever causes one of these little ones (these believers) who ^[a]acknowledge and cleave to Me to stumble and sin, it would be better (more profitable and wholesome) for him if a [huge] millstone were hung about his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.

It seems difficult sometimes.


But we should try not to judge nor offend brethren.


(1Co 8:12) But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.

(1Co 8:13) Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.


(Apostle Paul is actually writing about meat offered to false gods and idols.)
