Praise JESUS CHRIST!
It’s easier to love someone whom we are comfortable with or people who are kind to us. But what about the harder places? What about people who are ‘impossible to be loved’? This could be due to hurt, betrayal, anger, irritation or anything for the matter.
Recently, I found it difficult to love and care for someone that I know. I wanted to ignore that person completely. I thought it was easier that way.
Then I came across Luke 6:32, But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. I was deeply convicted.
In Christ, we are required to love all even our enemies. Love is sacrificial, long suffering and denying oneself for another. Even when it’s ‘impossible to love’ that person, we have to command our heart and mind to love all in JESUS’ name. Ask JESUS to change your heart towards this person. Go the extra mile, humble yourself and do as you are led. If you are led to call or just send a text message, do it even if it goes unattended or you get one word answers. Pay a visit; go even if you feel unwelcomed. Bake or cook something for that person, just do it even when it’s goes unappreciated. You might get discouraged in the beginning but deny your flesh and keep showing love. Humble yourself and do it. As you keep doing it in the love of CHRIST, I know JESUS will change your heart and theirs too.
