Last October 5 this year, our church celebrated its 30th Anniversary. One of the highlights of the said activity was giving honor/recognition to some of notable Laborers of the Lord in His vineyard.
The last one that was recognized was an above 80 year old, old evangelist who has been known as the Billy Graham of Asia. After our spiritual director) gave his introductory story about this Man of God, the old evangelist said in his introductory speech,
"Before I could say anything else today, I'm asking the Lord two things before you."
"First," he said, "I would ask the Lord to forgive Bro. Eddie (our spiritual director) for such an exaggerated introduction about me."
"Secondly," he added, "I also ask the Lord to forgive me because I am enjoying it myself." (hahahahaha)
Praise the Lord.....
I'm impressed with the evangelist's honesty to admit the truth.. hehehe
