This is a new venture for me. I am more used to talking to people not to writing.

Who knows you may find easier to communicate this way rather than having to deal with the distractions of sight,smell,sound and time constraints.Not only that but did you ever want to say something to your audience and thought you should check your facts first.That is easy to do right in the middle of a post.
